Kristen Winters – Senior Paralegal
Kristen has been with the Burstein Law Firm since December 2004. Starting out as a data-entry peon she quickly learned about all aspects of Estate Planning and Probate. Kristen now coordinates and manages the Probate division in the firm and amongst her duties include client contact, preparation of letters and forms, and following up with courts throughout the State of California. Among other things, she also has extensive experience in trust administration. She always enjoys when new challenges present themselves.
Born and raised in a small town in Michigan, Kristen moved to Los Angeles in 2002 to attend Otis College of Art and Design. In her spare time Kristen designs and sews clothes for her small label. She has wide assortment of interests, including movies, physics, and new technology.
Marycela Pina – Marketing Supervisor
Marycela joined the Burstein Law Firm in May 2007. She is a Los Angeles native and is a proud product of its public school system. Besides working, she attends American Intercontinental University and will be receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice in June 2008. Marycela enjoys marketing the practice including planning and implementing seminars because it brings out her creative side. She is a people-person and loves to interact personally with clients and meet their needs.
Among her interests are art (she is a painter and sculptor), music and dance and when she is not working or going to school, she makes to time see her parents, brother, and sister.
Joshua Rogers – Legal Assistant
Joshua started with the Burstein Law Firm in November 2005. Joshua was born in Orange County, California and has lived in Southern California all of his life. He is currently attending Loyola Marymount University majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in Business Law. Joshua is set to graduate in May 2008 after which he will continue to Law School. He is now in charge of Estate Planning document preparation.
Joshua’s hobbies include music (drums, specifically), dirt bike racing, and sports (he was the starting catcher in high school).
Chelsey Kinnon - Data Processing Manager
Chelsey was born and raised in Culver City, California. She went through the Culver City school system graduating High School in 2006. Chelsey is currently pursuing an Associate of Arts degree at Santa Monica College and has an interest in nursing. She manages all data entry and filing aspects of the office.
